Cũcũ - I

This is a set of figurative portraits painted with layers of burnt-amber acrylic against a bright background. I used a warm, limited palette and layered brushwork to create contrast, define the facial features, and bring out the emotions of each subject. Through her expressions, layered text, and depth of the painted form, I aimed to convey the emotional weight and vulnerability of her experiences.
